The Economic Affairs Officer will be responsible for developing databases and technical analyses on international tax cooperation topics, drafting inputs for technical papers, and identifying and analysing policy proposals.
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in tax policy and administration, economic research and analysis, policy formulation and application of economic principles in development programmes is required. Experience in international tax cooperation in particular on dispute preventions and resolution is required.
An advanced university degree (Master’s or Doctorate degree, or equivalent) in taxation, economics, law, development or related fields is required. A first-level degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
