Consultancy for the development of an IOM Community Based Protection Learning Note, focusing on operationalizing guidance, strengthening programming effectiveness, and informing future action.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an Inception Document outlining methodology, scope, workplan, interview protocols, selected initiatives, practices template, table of content, and coordination arrangements.
  • Submit a first full draft of the learning note and best practice repository, capturing lessons learned, best practices, operational challenges, and recommendations.
  • Submit the finalized draft of the CBP Learning Note approved by IOM for publication.
Required Experience

At least 10 years of relevant professional experience working on migration and human rights. Experience in protection programming in North Africa, especially in the field of migration, including expertise in general protection, GBV, Child Protection, Community-Based Protection, MHPSS. Demonstrated experience in learning-oriented assignments, including documentation, analysis and systematization of lessons learned and practices. Previous experience in developing manual, guidance and training material. Capacity to conduct consultations and interviews with relevant stakeholders. Experience providing result-oriented conclusions and recommendations to national and international stakeholders. Desirable: Experience conducting similar consultancies for IOM or other UN agencies.

Qualifications

University Degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Information Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
