Overview
Support the effective implementation, coordination, monitoring, and governance of the Regular Pathways portfolio within IOM Tunisia. Contribute to programme planning, management, reporting, and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
- Compile, summarise, analyse, and present project information and data.
- Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments.
- Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation.
- Draft status reports, identify shortfalls, and suggest corrective measures.
- Draft correspondence, prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, and statistical tables.
- Organise meetings, workshops, and training sessions, prepare training materials, and participate in delivering capacity building workshops.
- Respond to complex information requests and inquiries.
- Set up and maintain files/records.
- Participate in meetings and conferences.
- Maintain liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, UN agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, donors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor work of implementing partners and report non-compliance.
- Provide inputs for SOPs and concept papers, and support new project development.
- Provide guidance/training and assist in coordinating/monitoring work of other staff.
- May supervise other staff as assigned.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience; or, High School diploma with six years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations; Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and, Prior work experience with international humanitarian organisations, non-government or government institutions/organisation in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
