Overview

Support the effective implementation, coordination, monitoring, and governance of the Regular Pathways portfolio within IOM Tunisia. Contribute to programme planning, management, reporting, and strategic priorities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities.
  • Compile, summarise, analyse, and present project information and data.
  • Monitor budget implementation and propose adjustments.
  • Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation.
  • Draft status reports, identify shortfalls, and suggest corrective measures.
  • Draft correspondence, prepare and update reports, briefing notes, graphics, and statistical tables.
  • Organise meetings, workshops, and training sessions, prepare training materials, and participate in delivering capacity building workshops.
  • Respond to complex information requests and inquiries.
  • Set up and maintain files/records.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences.
  • Maintain liaison and coordination with local authorities, partners, UN agencies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor work of implementing partners and report non-compliance.
  • Provide inputs for SOPs and concept papers, and support new project development.
  • Provide guidance/training and assist in coordinating/monitoring work of other staff.
  • May supervise other staff as assigned.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience; or, High School diploma with six years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organisations; Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and, Prior work experience with international humanitarian organisations, non-government or government institutions/organisation in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Social Science, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or, High School diploma.
