Overview
The Administrative Coordinator to the Judiciary will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Presidency and Judges of the International Criminal Court.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a focal point for the Judiciary, ensuring access to information management services and building access.
- Coordinate the provision of offices, work stations, bibs, and robes, ensuring they are cleaned, inventoried, and maintained.
- Order and maintain stock of business cards, stationery, and printing supplies.
- Collate and maintain records and information, including Judiciary staffing tables, organigrams, calendars, and timekeeping.
- Provide information on matters such as arrival documents for newly elected judges, induction, medical insurance, and pensions.
- Arrange trips and coordinate transport for events.
- Provide secretarial and administrative assistance, including preparing communications, checking correspondence for completeness and accuracy, and coordinating work schedules.
- Organize and maintain collections of documents for judges and legal staff.
- Coordinate preparations for meetings and events.
- Draft routine correspondence for judges.
- Monitor incoming mail and prepare routing slips.
- Coordinate the presence of Chambers’ administrative assistants to ensure adequate cover.
- Serve as back up to other Administrative Assistants in Chambers.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience
At least eight years of work experience performing administrative and secretarial functions for senior officials involving frequent contact with diplomatic personnel is required. An advanced or first-level university degree may be considered as a substitute for two years' working experience only to determine eligibility.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education.
