Overview
Support UNICEF's Global Education Practice in planning, producing, and amplifying social media content to advance education priorities and enhance digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, drafting, scheduling, and publishing of social media content.
- Maintain and update a rolling social media editorial calendar.
- Support the social media presence and thought leadership of the Global Director for Education.
- Develop simple, on-brand visual and multimedia content.
- Draft compelling copy and messaging on priority themes.
- Monitor social media channels, trends, and relevant conversations.
- Compile and analyse social media metrics, preparing regular analytics reports.
- Support coordination with communications colleagues and external partners.
- Help ensure accessibility, inclusivity, and appropriate framing across all content.
- Support the organization of social media moments around events, launches, and campaigns.
- Contribute to strengthening the practice’s social media capacity.
- Perform any other related duties as required by the supervisor.
Required Experience
One (1) year of experience in social media management, digital communications, marketing, journalism, or a related area.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, digital or social media, public relations, or a related field.
