Overview
The Online Volunteer will be responsible for the integral review of the Student Leadership Guide, specifically Chapter 4, ensuring consistency in inclusive language and a rights-based approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the guide, especially Chapter 4.
- Verify consistency of inclusive language and rights-based approach (respectful tone suitable for adolescents).
- Deliver versions with tracked changes and a clean final version.
- Document key editorial decisions.
Required Experience
- Experience in editing, style correction, and proofreading in Spanish, ideally in long documents (reports, guides, manuals).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word (styles, index, track changes) or Google Docs.
- Knowledge of clear and inclusive language.
- Previous experience with documents on adolescent/youth education or development.
- Familiarity with United Nations editorial guidelines.
- Ability to meet deadlines and asynchronous communication.
