Overview
Establish a pool of consultant trainers to support UNHCR Paris in strengthening understanding of asylum procedures and cases through training sessions and written materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver training sessions for members of legal professions and any other profession dealing with refugee rights
- Develop written training materials
- Provide relevant legal and/or geopolitical expertise
- Training sessions conducted as per agreed schedule
- Written training materials submitted
Required Experience
- 8 years of experience as a trainer
- Experience in asylum field, including drafting and analysing judicial decisions
- Knowledge of the French and EU asylum system
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree in law, international law, or related field
- Specialization in refugee law and human rights law
