Overview
The MEAL Expert will support the integration of MEAL systems in international programmes, focusing on impact measurement, management, and cross-learning to align with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support MEAL component design and resourcing in proposals, including evidence-based data integration and indicator identification.
- Assist in defining MEAL plans, monitoring mechanisms, data collection tools, and accountability mechanisms.
- Promote digital technologies and innovative solutions in MEAL.
- Provide technical support to Country Offices on MEAL implementation, including PIRS, data collection, and reporting.
- Support baseline and evaluation studies, reviewing TORs, inception reports, and draft evaluation reports.
- Facilitate learning agendas and knowledge sharing activities.
- Contribute to strengthening MEAL capacity through field missions, remote support, training, and resource sharing.
- Develop evidence briefs, programme cards, and presentations to communicate methodological approaches and results.
- Organize and conduct webinars and meetings to share evidence and learning.
- Analyze relevant KPIs related to SC Italy’s performance on MEAL and contribute to strategy KPI reporting.
