Overview
The Programme Operations Analyst will support the effective coordination and implementation of programme operations under the Regional and Local Economic Development Programme (RLEDP). The role contributes to the planning, coordination, and quality assurance of financial, administrative, and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of programme financial management processes, contributing to compliance with UNDP rules, regulations, policies and internal control frameworks.
- Facilitate preparation and coordination of documentation for annual and ad hoc audits, verifications and internal reviews.
- Support preparation and monitoring of procurement plans and related activities.
- Support data collection, analysis and maintenance of programme-related databases, records and files.
- Support preparation and revision of programme budgets, including development of justifications for budget reallocation and reprogramming requests.
- Contribute to capacity development of implementing partners and programme teams on financial and operational management processes.
Required Experience
- Applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience at national or international level in programme/project operations, procurement coordination, finance, administration.
- Experience working with corporate management systems and electronic document management tools.
- Experience in programme or project operations, including financial and administrative processes within development programmes.
- Experience in supporting procurement planning and the full cycle of operational implementation.
- Previous experience with UNDP, other UN agencies, international technical assistance projects (ITA) or development programmes.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Quantum) or similar financial/operational management systems.
Qualifications
- An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Social Sciences or other relevant fields is required.
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
