Overview
The Information Management and Analytics Advisor provides expert services on a retainer basis, focusing on strategic design, stakeholder facilitation, expert consultation, quality assurance, and executive advisory for complex institutional programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated strategic workshops and residencies to merge organizational needs with technical and governance architecture.
- Facilitate the definition of project goals, ensuring consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Oversee the development of strategic frameworks, design packages, and governance models.
- Design and manage diagnostic tools to identify institutional pain points.
- Provide intensive technical and strategic reviews to evaluate program progress.
- Review and refine logic models, decision-analysis frameworks, and data-driven engines.
- Provide expert peer review on solution architectures and engagement work-streams.
- Act as a high-level liaison between UNOPS and senior leadership.
- Advise on change and engagement strategies, integrating user adoption and capacity building.
- Identify high-level strategic risks in project delivery and propose mitigation strategies.
Required Experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Experience steering high-level strategic planning and program delivery for complex, multi-sectoral initiatives.
- Proven track record of using Design Thinking or Systems Engineering methodologies.
- Extensive experience in fragile or transitioning contexts, acting as a primary advisor to senior government officials, ministers, or executive boards.
- Demonstrated ability to operate across diverse cultural and political landscapes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent OR Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
- Professional Certifications: PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, PSM/CSM, Kanban, Lean, Corporate Governance, Risk Management (IRM), or Design Thinking.
