Overview
The Senior Movement Operations Associate (Beneficiary-Facing Activities) is responsible for supervising movement and field operations activities, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team undertaking beneficiary-facing activities.
- Oversee field support activities relating to movement operations.
- Coordinate transportation of beneficiaries.
- Oversee provision of food and other essential items.
- Coordinate cases or individuals with special needs.
- Oversee pre-departure formalities.
- Coordinate and/or provide selection mission support and interpretation services.
- Coordinate provision of visa applicants with application assistance.
- Liaise with other teams and units and external partners.
- Undertake duty travel as required.
- Demonstrate understanding of applicable SOPs, systems and databases.
- Uphold RMM Protection Mainstreaming Minimum Standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- High School diploma with six years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Work experience in programs including movement operations component, particularly in resettlement programs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in IOM-RMM proprietary tools and systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of handling sensitive information and personal data.
- Experience with supervising a team.
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, International Relations, Regional Studies or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
