Overview
The Associate Investment Officer will support Corporate Finance Services (CFS) regional teams with global capacity, aiming to facilitate business development and execute transactions in Continental Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the execution of buy-side and sell-side advisory, restructuring advisory, and EMP services mandates.
- Undertaking industry and market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Reviewing corporate structure, balance sheet structure, business plan, and IPO prospectus.
- Creating valuation models and supporting bankability assessment.
- Supporting the design of investment thesis and communication of investment value propositions.
- Drafting marketing documents, information memoranda, due-diligence, and transaction structuring reports.
- Supporting IFC’s “brand” in the CFS space.
- Supporting knowledge management by disseminating CFS’s knowledge and experience.
Required Experience
At least 6 years relevant experience. Transaction advisory experience in buy side mandates, sell side mandates, restructuring mandates. Experience in financial statement analysis, forecasting, capital structure modeling, LBO and M&A modeling, intrinsic valuation and Discounted Cash Flow analysis.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in finance, business, law, consulting.
