Overview
The Cash Voucher Officer ensures community mobilization and beneficiary receipt of monetary assistance, supports monitoring and evaluation activities related to cash transfers, and reports on achievements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure community mobilization and beneficiary receipt of monetary assistance.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities related to cash transfer access.
- Report on achievements.
- Coordinate beneficiary targeting.
- Contribute to project understanding and acceptance in target areas.
- Facilitate the establishment of beneficiary targeting committees.
- Notify aspects that may hinder project results.
- Provide other support as needed.
- Facilitate social inclusion, including gender aspects in committees and follow-up meetings.
- Accompany the monitoring and evaluation team in conducting studies.
- Submit activity plans and reports to the supervisor.
- Ensure management and maintenance of relationships with authorities, leaders, partners, and communities.
- Ensure controlled dissemination of information that could harm a child.
- Disseminate key principles of the ICT Policy and link with Plan's Protection Policy.
- Ensure contracts and protocols with consultants and partners contain minimum standards for child protection rights.
- Facilitate understanding of key partners and organize working sessions.
- Request feedback from subordinates regarding partners' behavior towards children.
- Report child abuse attempts, including electronic tool management, to complaint mechanism managers.
- Work closely with the Gender and Advocacy Technical Advisor for gender analysis.
- Ensure interventions include results, objectives, and indicators for gender equality.
- Systematically use gender integration tools.
- Follow and respect beneficiary definition criteria, ensuring at least 65% female participation.
- Ensure monitoring and evaluation frameworks include sex and age-disaggregated data.
- Report any allegations or suspicions of sexual harassment.
- Contribute to Plan International-Haiti operations, including meetings and activities.
- Share information and work with colleagues to achieve main tasks and contribute to a good team climate.
- Ensure activities are executed in conformity with the organization's goals and policies.
- Execute any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.
- Ensure Plan International's global policies for child and youth safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion are integrated.
Required Experience
- Professional experience in community mobilization, cash transfer/over-the-counter cash, food voucher.
- At least one year of experience working within an NGO/institution in a similar position.
Qualifications
• Diploma in social work, community development, or other related social sciences.
