Supply Chain Manager - CHAD

Overview

Plan International is recruiting a Country Supply Chain Manager to lead and strengthen supply chain operations across Chad and the Chad–Darfur humanitarian corridor. This role ensures efficient, compliant, and high-quality supply chain support for development and emergency programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the national Supply Chain Strategy in alignment with Plan International global standards.
• Oversee procurement, logistics, fleet, warehousing, assets, administration, and infrastructure management.
• Manage cross‑border logistics (Chad–Darfur), including customs, documentation, and compliance.
• Ensure strong internal controls, donor compliance, and risk management.
• Build capacity of staff and partner NGOs on supply chain processes.
• Ensure emergency supply chain preparedness and participate in humanitarian coordination platforms.
• Represent Plan International with government, suppliers, and partners.

Required Experience

7+ years’ experience, including at least 4 years in a senior supply chain role with an international NGO. Strong knowledge of donor rules (EU, UN, AFD, World Bank). Proven experience in procurement, logistics, fleet, warehousing, administration, and compliance. ERP proficiency (SAP, Dynamics 365) and strong analytical/reporting skills. Experience in humanitarian logistics, emergency response, or cross‑border operations is an asset.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
