Overview
Provides professional technical assistance and support for programme/project design, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and administration of programme/project activities in support of education programme goals and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze regional and national development trends.
- Collect, analyze, verify, and synthesize information for programme development.
- Support preparation of technical reports and programme documentation.
- Contribute to programme goals, objectives, strategies, and results-based planning.
- Provide technical and administrative support throughout programming processes.
- Prepare documentations for programme review and approval.
- Work with colleagues and partners to collect, analyze, and share implementation information.
- Suggest solutions for routine programme implementation issues.
- Participate in monitoring and evaluation exercises and programme reviews.
- Monitor and report on the use of sectoral programme resources.
- Prepare draft inputs for programme/donor reporting.
- Undertake field visits and surveys to assess progress.
- Provide technical and operational support to counterparts and partners.
- Build and sustain partnerships with government counterparts and national stakeholders.
- Draft communication and information materials for programme advocacy.
- Participate in inter-agency meetings on programming.
- Research potential donors and prepare resource mobilization materials.
- Provide support in identifying, capturing, synthesizing, and sharing lessons learned.
- Apply innovative approaches and promote good practices.
- Research, benchmark, and report on best practices for knowledge products.
- Participate as a resource person in capacity building initiatives.
Required Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of educational programs in territorial contexts, with an emphasis on ensuring complete educational pathways.
- Experience in supervising staff and supporting pedagogical processes in the field.
- Proven experience in technical supervision and support to territorial teams and educational personnel, and guidance of pedagogical processes in the field.
- Implementation of pedagogical strategies from early childhood to upper secondary education.
- Coordination with educational institutions, local authorities, and communities to ensure access, retention, and learning for children and adolescents.
- Application of inclusive and differential approaches in contexts of diversity and vulnerability.
- Monitoring educational pathway indicators and preparing technical reports.
- Participation in inter-institutional and territorial coordination spaces.
- Experience coordinating with governmental, educational, and community entities to strengthen local educational responses.
- Preparation, implementation, and follow-up of educational action proposals in vulnerable contexts (humanitarian, nexus, development).
Qualifications
A university degree in one of the following fields is required: education, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.
