Overview
This position provides technical expertise in mechatronics, automation, and CNC technologies for vocational training and educational projects in Egypt and Morocco. The role involves adapting policies and approaches to integrate modern industrial technologies into training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects related to mechatronics, automation, and CNC technologies in vocational training centers.
- Provide advice on technical education and industrial automation policies and procedures.
- Adapt policies, approaches, and models to meet project needs.
- Supervise support staff and/or junior professionals.
- Solve complex technical problems.
- Manage procurement, installation, and maintenance of CNC equipment and automation systems.
- Interact with clients, educational institutions, and industry partners.
- Develop and adapt training curricula for mechatronics, automation, and CNC technologies.
- Conduct training sessions for instructors and students.
- Provide technical guidance for mechatronics and automation labs.
- Evaluate training program effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, educational institutions, and government agencies.
- Facilitate collaboration between industry and academia.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechatronics, automation, and CNC technologies.
- Experience in project management, curriculum development, and technical training.
- Experience in vocational training and technical education programs.
- Experience in the Middle East and North Africa region.
- Experience working in international development projects or with UN agencies is desired.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development is desired.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 7 years of relevant experience.
- Engineering degree or Masters degree or equivalent in a related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
