Overview
To support the effective day-to-day delivery of specialized, client-focused, and value-for-money services pertaining to the Management Services portfolio, especially providing support guesthouse management, including support during evacuation and relocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative and technical support within the Management Services portfolio.
- Prepare performance reports/dashboard including trend and analysis.
- Ensure all accommodation services comply with WFP policies and local regulations.
- Support oversight of guesthouse staff and coordinate with Engineering, Security, and TEC.
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures, revenues, and inventories.
- Conduct monthly room checks and report maintenance issues.
- Provide support to guesthouse services for the staff, including support for security-related relocations and evacuations.
- Contribute to the enhancement of field offices in the focus areas of Guesthouse management.
- Monitor resource need within the designated area of responsibility.
- Collate and analyze data and prepare/consolidate reports.
- Review and recommend improvements to procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate resolutions to complex queries.
- Utilize digital tools and technology applications to improve working practices.
- Ensure the full application of the approved Guesthouse Management SOPs.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Required Experience
At least 3 relevant experiences in business support, administration, or operational management within the UN system or international organizations.
Qualifications
Advanced University degree in Business/Public Administration, or other relevant field relating to office management and administration. First University degree in Business/Public Administration, or other relevant field relating to office management and administration with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.
