Overview
Manage the financial operations of the Sudan Health Emergency and Infrastructure Project (SHEIP) at the PCO level, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with WHO/AfDB standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and updating of project budget tracking sheets.
- Maintain regular records of project expenditures and budget utilization.
- Assist in tracking payment requests and maintaining financial documentation for project transactions.
- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly financial summaries and expenditure reports.
- Maintain organized financial records to support compliance with WHO procedures and donor requirements.
- Assist in compiling financial documentation required for project closure.
- Submit a report and financial closure documentation within 60 days of project completion.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience managing financial operations for donor-funded projects.
- Experience working with WHO, AfDB, or other UN/International organizations.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Experience in preparing donor financial reports and liaising with external auditors.
- Prior involvement in setting up or strengthening financial systems in large-scale health or development projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
