Overview
Provides technical coordination support, system implementation support, and supports data protection governance for UNHCR project-funded initiatives in Türkiye. Ensures nationally embedded digital systems are operationally effective and compliant with UNHCR data protection standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide data-focused technical support and coordination for UNHCR-supported initiatives.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of digital tools, systems, and business intelligence solutions.
- Liaise with ICT units, UNHCR technical teams, and service providers.
- Support monitoring of implementation progress and flag technical risks.
- Provide technical guidance on data protection and responsible data management.
- Support systems for voluntary return and cash-based assistance modalities.
- Support the design and implementation of a resettlement data-exchange modality.
- Support project activities related to statistics, reporting, and data integration.
- Support the design and delivery of technical briefings and trainings.
Required Experience
- Minimum 7–9 years of progressively responsible experience in information management, identity management, protection systems, or digital solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with registration or individual case management systems, including UNHCR proGres and/or BIMS.
- At least 5 years of experience working with government counterparts on system-level or inter-institutional data-exchange initiatives.
- Proven experience in data protection, data governance, and responsible data-sharing.
- Experience supporting project-based, multi-stakeholder implementations.
- Demonstrated UNHCR emergency response experience.
- At least 3 years of people-management experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, information systems, public administration, social sciences, or a related field.
- Completion of UNHCR emergency-deployment trainings is an asset.
