Overview

Support the development and implementation of health-related information systems for the collection, collation, analysis, tracking, and dissemination of epidemic intelligence information.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical inputs in the development and review of electronic disease surveillance platforms and tools.
  • Support the development and review of training materials for the implementation of electronic disease surveillance platforms.
  • Support the collection, analysis, production, and dissemination of data and health information products.
  • Aggregate and maintain inter-country information from WHO and partners.
  • Participate in the basic geographic analysis for health-related information.
  • Provide information sharing between WHO, the Federal Ministry of Health, and Health cluster partners.
  • Participate in field epidemiological surveys if/where needed.
  • Provide information management input into the planning and data/information management process.
  • Support and initiate the development of relevant studies and will perform advanced analysis using statistics.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience

Minimum of five (05) years of relevant experience at the national or international level in health systems data management, analysis and development of health information products in a complex humanitarian setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, health information or data management, computer sciences, statistics, public health, or a related field.
