Overview

The role supports the implementation of UNICEF's multisectoral programs in priority municipalities, facilitating local coordination and strengthening on-the-ground monitoring to ensure timely and culturally appropriate services for children and adolescents.


Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor local context and its impact on UNICEF's cooperation program.
  • Monitor the situation of children.
  • Monitor programs.
  • Manage knowledge for programs.
  • Coordinate and collaborate operationally.
Required Experience
  • Professional experience with increasing responsibilities in program/project development, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and coordination, preferably in field settings or remote/underserved areas.
  • Experience working in multicultural or indigenous contexts, particularly with vulnerable or hard-to-reach populations, will be highly valued.
  • Experience in humanitarian action, community-based programming, climate resilience, disaster risk reduction, or sustainability will be valued.
  • Previous experience in the UN system or other international development or humanitarian organizations will be valued.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong drafting, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • High standards of accuracy and professionalism in document preparation, data management, and reporting.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Policy, Public Administration, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Public Health, Nutrition, Education, Environmental Health, WASH, Monitoring and Evaluation, Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Risk Reduction, Indigenous Studies, or another relevant field.

• Monthly living allowance of 1,819 USD. • A pre-assignment subsidy (paid on first payroll). • A final assignment subsidy, paid upon completion of the contract, provided corresponding conditions are met. • Medical, dental, and hospitalization insurance, as well as life and disability insurance. • Among others.
