Overview
The role involves delivering end-to-end data analytics and business intelligence solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, modelling, validation, and visualisation, to support operational readiness and service optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end data analytics and business intelligence solutions.
- Design and maintain dashboards and analytical products.
- Produce trend analysis, forecasting, and capacity and performance insights.
- Design and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of the NISC Data Lake.
- Support data governance, KPI/SLA reporting and CMDB data quality initiatives.
- Define and manage requirements.
- Design, develop, test and maintain moderately complex programs and scripts.
- Apply data modelling techniques.
- Create reports and visualisations.
- Analyse user experience requirements.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years role-related experience.
- 2 years’ experience in data cleaning and data manipulation techniques.
- Proficiency in programming and relevant data tools.
- Communication and data visualization skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline (such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Information science, economics, business analytics, finance, sociology, psychology).
- Exceptionally, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the role may compensate for lack of a university degree.
- ITIL 4 Foundation.
