Overview
The Senior Partnership Officer will work in the partnership unit to oversee the management, coordination, and risk control elements of IRC's sub-awards portfolio, ensuring high-risk management and compliance in partnerships that deliver timely and effective assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and coordinate sub-award life cycle management, including partner identification, vetting, project and agreement development, monitoring, and close-out.
- Coordinate the pre-award due diligence process, including vetting and risk analysis.
- Maintain and coordinate partner program, finance, and compliance monitoring schedules.
- Ensure monitoring plans, visits, and tools are in place for donor compliance and progress against objectives.
- Participate in partner monitoring visits to support daily activities' implementation.
- Liaise with finance for timely fund transfers and financial follow-up.
- Incorporate inputs after internal review of partner proposals and agreements.
- Draft and follow up on partner agreements.
- Lead the stakeholder analysis process with the partnerships manager.
- Support the partnerships coordinator and manager in finalizing partnerships’ strategies.
- Collaborate with other IRC departments to support partner capacity strengthening efforts.
- Support IRC’s role in delivering capacity strengthening plans for partners.
- Support partners in the development of narrative proposals and budgets.
- Implement best practices for systematic partner feedback.
- Ensure comprehensive electronic and physical files for partnerships are maintained.
- Review monthly internal reports and support the drafting and compilation of partner reports.
- Represent IRC Lebanon at relevant coordination meetings.
- Take responsibility for miscellaneous projects as requested.
Required Experience
Demonstrated successful experience working with partners and/or grants management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, Master’s degree a plus.
