Provide technical and coordination support to projects implemented under the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (RAP), contributing to strengthened climate resilience and sustainable agri-food systems. Responsible for effective management and implementation of project activities, including coordination with counterparts and facilitation of multi-stakeholder engagement.
Minimum of 5 year of professional experience in internal control, finance, administration, risk management, audit, or a related field for 5 years for Category B. Consultants with bachelor's degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience. Experience in work in Asia region, UN or international agencies, familiarity with UN administrative, operational and financial procedures is considered a strong asset. Experience in managing projects through external partners and with relevant modalities such as FAO’s Operational Partners Implementation Modality (OPIM) or the UN's Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT) is considered an asset.
Advanced university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in public of business administration, finance, accounting, economics, social science or any other discipline relevant to the work of the Organization. Consultants with bachelor's degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience.
