Overview
Support the Fundraising Department in donor care, aiming to increase support for UNICEF’s programmatic work and its mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to supporter inquiries via telephone, e-mail, or post.
- Contact private individuals by telephone to request donations, thank them, present UNICEF's mission, propose giving mechanisms, and obtain donor information.
- Execute donor stewardship processes, including monitoring and lowering attrition, onboarding new supporters, reactivation, upgrading existing supporters, and handling supporter acknowledgement and engagement.
- Enter donor data and process donations accurately and timely into specialized fundraising/CRM software.
- Provide assistance with mailings, lists, campaign tracking, and reporting.
- Provide administrative and other support to fundraising activities.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in relevant fields (fundraising, customer care, telemarketing).
- Solid knowledge of MS Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- General understanding and knowledge of database systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Systematic approach to work, accuracy, and attention to details.
- Understanding of basic customer/donor relations and fundraising principles.
- Preferably experience in working in a CRM tool (knowledge of Salesforce).
- Preferably experience in fundraising and an understanding of basic fundraising principles.
- Preferably familiarity with UNICEF’s programs and activities in Croatia.
Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Preferably Bachelors’ degree in Humanities, Business or similar.
