Overview
The Programme Assistant will carry out procedural, administrative, and operational tasks to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the country programme, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitating the processing of contracts for consultants, suppliers/vendors and external partners.
- Collecting invoices and filing documents for approval and processing.
- Preparing and maintaining records for monitoring project/programme implementation and financial expenditures.
- Supporting the processing of Implementation Partners project documents.
- Preparing and maintaining records pertaining to programme planning and development.
- Carrying out transactions in SAP system (VISION).
- Supporting capacity development activities, meetings and conferences.
- Supporting the management of administrative supplies and office equipment.
- Supporting management of the shared UN office.
- Maintaining office calendar and arranging meetings.
- Providing travel assistance to staff members.
Required Experience
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience is required.
- Previous experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the work of the organization.
