Overview

The role is responsible for business development, product development, and marketing activities for the .POST sponsored Top Level Domain (TLD) and associated digital services.


Key Responsibilities
  • - Preparation and implementation of business plans, marketing and sales plans.
  • - Communication of accurate and timely information and forecasts.
  • - Anticipation of customer needs and potential solutions.
  • - Identification and development of strategic relationships.
  • - Contribution to strategic business planning and service delivery.
  • - Provision of business support to the .POST Group.
  • - Implementation of .POST and related products and services policies and recommendations.
  • - Provide technical expertise in the development and maintenance of the .POST Digital Services framework.
  • - Execution of key product development, communications, and marketing activities.
  • - Specification of market requirements for current and future Internet-based postal products.
  • - Development of proposals for international Internet-based digital postal products.
  • - Increasing awareness and knowledge about .POST and related products and services.
  • - Management of a portfolio of projects and activities related to the security, stability and service delivery for the .POST initiative.
  • - Maintenance of all operational processes for the .POST Business Management Unit.
  • - Establishment of, and support the maintenance of key strategic operational relationships.
  • - Provide technical support and coordination between the .POST TLD registry operator and UPU technical staff.
  • - Monitoring of compliance for the ongoing verification of .POST TLD registrants and domains.
Required Experience
  • Three years of experience in marketing and business development in a multinational environment is required
  • Three years of experience in leading product/solution exhibitions at international conferences, trade shows, or expositions is required
  • Three years of experience working in an ICANN Contracted Party (e.g. an ICANN accredited Registrar or a Registry Operator) is desirable.
Qualifications

University Degree in business administration, communications and/or marketing.

Contract Duration
This is a three years' contract which can be renewed if the services continue to be required in the future, the funds are available and/or the staff member's performance is satisfactory.
