Overview
The Senior Administrative Associate assists the concerned manager in implementing general administrative and resource management tasks, ensuring timely administrative support and overseeing office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- - Assist the supervisor in the provision of resources (human, material and services).
- - Assist the supervisor in ensuring a healthy, safe and respectful working environment.
- - Analyse and maintain an overview of the work of the office.
- - Participate in the recruitment and training of General Service staff.
- - Review and evaluate work of subordinates.
- - Supervise activities concerned with office and grounds maintenance, security, transport and similar services.
- - Brief international personnel on administrative matters.
- - Advise and assist senior staff in office management.
- - Arrange for and/or attend meetings on administrative matters.
- - Prepare correspondence, special reports, evaluations and justifications.
- - Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- For G7 - 4 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 2 years relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher.
- Experience managing staff is highly desirable.
- Experience with finance, logistics, supply and procurement software is highly desirable.
- Strong English communication and drafting skills are desirable.
- Experience working in a multifunctional team is highly desirable.
- Experience working with humanitarian or development organizations in community projects in high-risk areas is desirable.
- Experience with Excel is highly desirable.
