Overview
The Information Management Specialist holds overall responsibility for UNFPA in Ukraine activities in the area of information management, including assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of data and statistical related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze trends, risks and data impacting the implementation of the Country Programme.
- Coordinate the Country Office’s M&E activities for Ukraine Country Programme implementation.
- Lead UNFPA’s engagement in inter-agency processes.
- Provide technical guidance on methodologies and support for data management activities.
- Support the analysis of primary and secondary data.
- Support data security, data protection and responsible data-sharing.
- Lead and undertake geospatial analysis, statistical analysis, targeting, surveys, indicator definition and other data management activities.
- Develop information management products such as indicators, templates, maps and dashboards.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Country programme including multi-agency programmes.
- Develop/refine the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) framework.
- Support monitoring by providing quality assurance and technical advice.
Required Experience
- Five years of relevant experience in data gathering, data management and data analysis to support policy formulation and implementation.
- Experience working with data management tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Previous experience working with an international organization in a humanitarian or development context.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in International Relations, Social Sciences, Statistics, Information Management, Data Science, Demography Computer Science or other relevant field.
