Overview

The Programme Specialist will drive partner engagement, knowledge development, events, and strategic efforts in Asia-Pacific, with a focus on the rice agri-commodity, for the First Movers Coalition for Food platform.


Key Responsibilities
  • Convene and manage stakeholders, including government, private sector, and civil society.
  • Develop the portfolio of work on rice in the region, supporting global and regional platform goals.
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of the Asia-Pacific strategy, including regional meetings and knowledge development.
  • Participate in the development of thought leadership and synthesis products.
  • Serve as the liaison for regional work and drive internal processes and coordination.
  • Support the global FMC for Food platform evolution and delivery, as well as the wider food systems team.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the region or the topic.
  • Project and stakeholder management.
  • Regional experience and knowledge on agriculture, food and related topics.
Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred, with knowledge and curiosity on the topic.
