Overview

This internship supports research activities focused on HR data analysis, compilation, and maintenance of HR-related databases and statistics.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supports research activities focused on HR data analysis related issues.
  • Assists in the compilation of HR related data.
  • Provides support to maintain databases containing HR related statistics and indicators.
  • Helps identify errors and inconsistencies in data and proposes solutions.
  • Assists in the preparation of data sets and other inputs to support the preparation of periodic reports and other information products.
  • Contributes to the search for data visualization tools to develop innovative data products.
  • Provides support in the preparation of newsletters and other products related to data analysis activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Experience

Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher). Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme. Relevant training or practical experience MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) or similar is required.
