Overview
Provides coordination and administrative support to RBM partnership governance mechanisms, including Partner Committees and Working Groups, and supports follow-up of agreed workplans.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the organization and servicing of meetings of RBM governance mechanisms (invitations, agendas, documentation circulation).
- Compile meeting materials and presentations.
- Prepare meeting summaries and maintain action trackers.
- Maintain membership lists, contact databases, and mailing groups.
- Assist in preparation of routine progress updates and reporting inputs.
- Provide surge/back-up support during Board and its committee cycles.
- Maintain shared communication channels and functional mailboxes.
- Update website content related to partnership membership and committee activities.
- Monitor applications to join the Partnership submitted via the website.
- Support coordination of logistics for in-person meetings, workshops, and consultations.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to governance-related consultations and partnership engagement processes.
- Maintain organized electronic records and document repositories.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the governance framework.
- Perform any other duties/tasks within the role as may be assigned by the Governance Officer.
Required Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in project management, administrative management, or related fields, supported by appropriate educational qualifications, is required; in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, seven (7) years of relevant experience will be accepted.
- Demonstrable proficiency in the use of collaboration and productivity tools (e.g., MS Office, G-Suite) and web-based management systems is required.
- Experience working in multicultural environments or United Nations (UN ) system organizations in a developing country is desired.
- A globally recognized professional certificate or membership in project management is desired.
- Experience in development or humanitarian contexts is desired.
