Overview

Support advocacy efforts and strategic communication for the Circular Economy Portfolio, aiming to strengthen policy appetite and stakeholder alignment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support advocacy efforts with key external stakeholders.
  • Assist in facilitating dialogue and engagement activities.
  • Support external integration of the Circular Economy Portfolio.
  • Support development and adaptation of advocacy and communication materials.
  • Assist in strengthening understanding of the portfolio approach.
  • Contribute to preparation of briefing notes and talking points.
  • Support design and implementation of CE literacy, awareness raising, and behavioural change initiatives.
  • Assist in developing content and campaign inputs.
  • Support documentation of lessons learned and good practices.
  • Work closely with programme teams and the Communications Team.
  • Assist in organizing events, campaigns, and outreach activities.
  • Support monitoring and reporting of advocacy and communication activities.
Required Experience
  • 3 years of experience in policy advocacy on sustainable development issues, preferably related to environment and/or climate.
  • Experience in multi stakeholder engagement involving government, civil society, community organizations, and/or private sector actors.
  • Familiarity with behaviour change communication, communications for development, and public awareness campaigns is an asset.
  • Experience working with UNDP, the UN system, or international development organizations is an advantage.
Qualifications

Master's degree in development studies, social sciences, environmental studies, business administration, or a related field.
