Overview
The consultant will update and revise the International Recommendations for a Culture Satellite Account (CSA) draft document to produce a new international recommendations document.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and revise the UIS 2018 International Recommendations for a CSA draft document.
- Describe key concepts and definitions and how CSA fits into the System of National Accounts (SNA).
- Describe uses and limitations of a CSA.
- Identify criteria to develop a CSA.
- Produce required summary tables.
- Identify initial aggregates.
- List and explain basic indicators.
- Discuss specific issues.
- Identify required classifications.
- Identify recommended data sources.
- Review past UIS work on international recommendations for a CSA.
- Incorporate results from UIS global consultation.
- Incorporate recommendations from the UIS CSA Technical Advisory Group.
Required Experience
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in economic statistics and/or economic research and/or working with Systems of National Accounts.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master or PhD degree or equivalent) in economics or related applied quantitative discipline or in the field of cultural economics.
