The consultancy will support the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) and UNICEF in implementing the EU-funded Climate-Resilient School Systems (EU-CRSS) programme in Vanuatu, by conducting a structured assessment of climate impacts on schools and education service delivery.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: education sector analysis, EMIS, education planning, climate resilience/DRR in education, quantitative methodology design and indicator development. Demonstrated experience developing practical tools for government use, such as templates, Kobo tools, SOPs or guidance materials. Strong analytical and report writing skills are required. Experience in Pacific contexts and/or Vanuatu is strongly preferred. Ability to work with MoET and provincial stakeholders, including facilitation of validation workshops, is required.
Bachelor's degree in Education planning, climate adaptation, disaster risk management, engineering and education, development studies, statistics, social sciences, inclusive education, psychology or other relevant field.
