Overview
The consultant will provide technical advice and expertise for computerized solutions to improve business processes and systems, and create effective information systems and data collection methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide software maintenance and technical expertise for existing divisional IT solutions, including databases, web and desktop applications.
- Carry out requirements analysis for design and development of new software systems.
- Implement software solutions, including acceptance testing, infrastructure and security upgrades, user training, and documentation preparation.
- Participate in planning and designing data management solutions for coordinated research projects and divisional reporting tasks.
- Manage data and databases on a daily basis to support divisional projects.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five years of working experience in database administration and information/data modelling and systems administration and database design and development (e.g., SQL, Microsoft SQL).
- Experience in frontend and backend development is required, preferably utilising C# and .NET.
- Experience in data visualization and reporting, especially MS POWERBI, is an asset.
- Previous support to IAEA IT solutions is an asset.
Qualifications
University degree (bachelors) in Software Engineering or a related field.
