Overview
Establish a Senior ICT/Digital Consultant Roster to support ITU in the Americas Region by carrying out assigned activities, preparing reports, and participating in meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned activities in the area of specialization.
- Ensure all activities are carried out according to schedule.
- Prepare reports/presentations in accordance with assigned activities.
- Provide documents requested by the ITU.
- Participate in face to face and online meetings scheduled for development of activities and delivery of results.
- Developed detailed analysis on policy, regulatory, economic and market trends.
- Contribute to the creation of topical digital policy, regulatory, economic and market content.
- Developed training content and delivered training.
- Implemented research activities of the area of specialization and communicate.
Required Experience
- At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of the Special Service Agreement (SSA).
- Extensive experience in ICT policy, regulatory and market analysis, mainly in the Americas Region.
Qualifications
University degree in telecommunication/ICTs, law, economics, public affairs, international relations, international development, management, engineering, political or social sciences or a related field.
