Overview
Assisting in the implementation and reporting of the Danish resettlement quota programme and other relevant projects under the IOM Denmark office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with resettlement movements activities from countries of departure to Denmark.
- Process resettlement beneficiaries by registering incoming cases and following up on administrative tasks and logistics.
- Support the arrangement of international travel, coordination of arrival dates, reception and handover.
- Support the monitoring and registration of programme results in organizational databases.
- Provide departure, transit, and arrival assistance to refugees.
- Carry out administrative tasks related to resettlement operations.
- Provide logistical support to other movement operations.
- Provide inputs to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide inputs to donor reports and support the development of project proposals.
- Assist in the timely implementation and reporting of other IOM Denmark projects.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant professional experience, or High school diploma with five years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of IOM resettlement operations and previous experience with IOM provided airport assistance is considered an advantage.
- Relevant experience supporting activities in the area of migration is considered an advantage.
- Experience in working in an intercultural setting is considered an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in fields relating to resettlement or other IOM programming (e.g. social work, political/social science, migration issues) from an accredited academic institution.
- High school diploma.
