Overview
The Senior Human Resources Associate is responsible for managing the human resources functions in the UK mission, including recruitment, pre-employment activities, HR system management, and staff support.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in evaluation of staffing needs and coordinate recruitment processes.
- Carry out and coordinate pre-employment activities.
- Perform assigned roles in the organizational HR system, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Monitor attendance and leave administration.
- Carry out and monitor a wide range of Human Resource actions.
- Prepare, coordinate and monitor all reports on personnel matters.
- Update and maintain electronic and physical archiving systems.
- Monitor compliance with performance evaluation and mandatory training.
- Plan and coordinate the organization of Human Resources events.
- Provide information to staff on entitlements and responsibilities.
- Identify areas for improvement and assist in analyzing and resolving sensitive cases.
- Provide guidance and training to and coordinate and monitor work of new/junior staff.
Required Experience
- High School diploma with six years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in SAP is a distinct advantage.
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
