Overview
The National Consultant (photographer/videographer) will provide photographic and video coverage of project events in Turkmenistan. The role aims to highlight the implementation of the "Improving Migration Governance and Access to Services for Displaced Afghans in Pakistan and Central Asia" regional project.
Key Responsibilities
- Discuss assignment with project management team.
- Provide all footage in JPEG and RAW formats on electronic bearer, with a minimum of 30 processed photos per location.
- Submit edited, formatted, and archived photos and videos on DVD/CD in digital format (JPEG with a minimum resolution of 2,000x3,000 pixels).
- Properly order photographs as required by the project team.
- Ensure IOM has the right to use photo and video materials, and destroy all traces of received materials after submission.
- Possess appropriate legal documents for photo services.
- Arrive at specified shooting locations according to the agreed workplan.
- Be ready for internal business trips to the velayats of the country.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of practical experience in photo and video shooting.
- Detailed individual portfolio showcasing range of work.
- Proven experience in documentary, portrait, and event photography in field conditions.
- Experience working with international organizations, NGOs, or government agencies (preferred).
- Experience working with IOM will be an advantage.
