Overview

The Temporary Welcome Officer will receive visitors and meeting participants while applying security controls, and provide guidance and information. This role requires working shifts and potentially outside standard hours.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper reception of visitors and meeting participants.
  • Participate in welcoming and escorting high-level visitors.
  • Provide guidance and information to visitors.
  • Deliver access badges in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Supervise and train subcontractors assigned to the reception area.
  • Manage supplies and inventory for the welcome desk.
  • Manage IT equipment (workstations, badge printers).
  • Handle telephone calls, filtering and transmitting.
  • Follow emergency safety protocols and assist with evacuations.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience in hosting and/or managing VIPs (private or public sector).
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment would be an advantage.
  • Experience in preparing meetings would be an advantage.
Qualifications

A good general secondary education.

Other Details
Languages Required
Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.
