Overview

The Project Officer role supports the District Coordinator in implementing project activities, achieving objectives, and ensuring adherence to humanitarian standards. The role focuses on community engagement, facilitation, immunization, and surveillance activities.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of activity plans and schedules
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned for future planning
  • Identify community-level barriers and opportunities for planning adjustment
  • Ensure cost-effective and efficient use of resources
  • Support inventory management for project materials
  • Support kaders and volunteers to correctly apply community case definition and reporting procedures
  • Assist in identifying zero-dose and defaulter children and support follow-up
  • Support delivery of training, orientation, and community sensitization sessions
  • Assist in coaching kaders and CHWs during field activities
  • Support preparation and dissemination of training materials and job aids
  • Encourage peer learning and sharing good practices
  • Submit monthly reports containing narrative, tracking table, and analysis of achievement
  • Collect, compile, and document field data related to project activities
  • Assist in verifying completeness and consistency of reports from the field
  • Develop linkages/networks and dynamic relationships with stakeholders at sub-district and village level
  • Manage all risks related to CGP Project according to organization policies, guidelines, and standards.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience working in community-based programs, NGO/INGO projects, or humanitarian/development initiatives.
  • Proven experience in community facilitation, field implementation, training delivery, and coordination with local stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in monitoring activities, data collection, and reporting is preferred.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Health, Education, Environment, or other relevant fields.
  • Diploma graduates with strong field experience may also be considered.
