Overview
Support MHPSS officer in providing MHPSS and PM+ services to vulnerable children, their families and communities. Facilitate planning and rollout of SCI MHPSS models and enhance capacity of facilitators and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the planning and rollout of SCI MHPSS models.
- Enhance the capacity of MOSAL MHPSS facilitators and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate to conduct assessments and develop MHPSS interventions.
- Create and implement tools for MHPSS interventions and measure impact.
- Conduct mapping of MHPSS services and maintain relationships with providers.
- Ensure case management staff reflect MHPSS support.
- Provide tailored/focused counselling support.
- Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of MHPSS interventions.
- Conduct regular visits to project sites and counselling sessions.
- Compile data of cases supported and provide periodic reports.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- 2 years’ experience in a similar post.
- Experience in having implemented psychosocial support programmes.
- Experience of working directly with children and/or adolescents.
- NGO or humanitarian programming experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, social work or community development.
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology will be an added advantage.
- Registration with a relevant professional authority in Yemen.
