Overview

Support the implementation of environmental programmes and projects within the Latin America and the Caribbean Office. The role involves assisting with intergovernmental cooperation, online platforms, event organization, and research on key environmental issues.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the follow-up and implementation of workstreams and projects.
  • Support with online platforms, including uploading information and maintaining the platform and website.
  • Assist with the organization of meetings, workshops, seminars, webinars, and other activities.
  • Carry out research, literature review, analysis and drafting of documents and summaries.
  • Support project development and implementation by gathering relevant information and data.
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a graduate school programme (Master's Degree programme, second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in Environmental Sciences, Economics, International Relations/ Development, Social Sciences, Law, Business Administration and/or related field; OR
  • Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences, Economics, International Relations/ Development, Social Sciences, Law, Business Administration and/or related field OR
  • Have graduated with a university degree in Environmental Sciences, Economics, International Relations/ Development, Social Sciences, Law, Business Administration and/or related field.
  • Be computer literate in standard software applications.
Other Details
Languages Required
Fluency in English and Spanish are required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of Portuguese would be an asset.

Remuneration
The internship is UNPAID. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
