Overview
Provide tailored technical assistance and substantive support to project implementation for infrastructure asset management in The Federated States of Micronesia, in coordination with government officials and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and co-implement an online awareness-raising workshop on infrastructure asset management.
- Liaise with national authorities to confirm participating local governments and develop an implementation schedule.
- Conduct diagnostic and training missions to local governments, applying the UN IAM diagnostic tool.
- Analyze findings and prepare customized Asset Management Profiles for each local government.
- Provide substantive input to the preparation of training content for an in-person workshop.
- Co-facilitate an in-person in-country workshop, contextualizing IAM principles and guiding participants through practical exercises.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in infrastructure, infrastructure asset management (IAM), or urban development.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as asset inventories, lifecycle planning, service delivery, public sector investment planning, or institutional capacity development.
- Knowledge of The Federated States of Micronesia’s public sector and infrastructure systems is required.
Qualifications
• Advanced degree in engineering, business, project management, public administration, urban planning, economics, or related field is required.
