Overview
The role involves hands-on coding, development, and technical support for the Integrated Health Information Platform (IHIP) and related systems, aiming to integrate health data from various national health programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain IHIP applications and modules using Java Spring Boot and Angular.
- Design, build, test, and deploy new features and modules.
- Translate system requirements into functional applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and bugs.
- Manage source code using version control systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs for integration with national digital health systems.
- Support day-to-day system operations, including application performance and user access management.
- Handle technical support and issue resolution (L2 level).
- Maintain and update databases.
- Prepare and update technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to field teams and stakeholders.
- Support the transition of IHIP to the Government of India.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of recent hands-on coding experience in the design, development, and maintenance of national-level health information systems.
- Direct experience in writing code, building features, fixing bugs, and deploying applications using Java Spring Boot, Angular/AngularJS, and PostgreSQL.
- Active development work experience.
- Recent (last 2 years) hands-on experience in frontend development, including Dynamic forms, dashboards, charts, and GIS-based maps (desirable).
- Experience in production support and maintenance of large-scale applications (desirable).
- Experience in full-stack development including database design and deployment (desirable).
- Experience developing Android mobile applications (desirable).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications or a related field.
- Post graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field (desirable).
