Overview
The Caregiver will assist with the daily upkeep and functioning of accommodation facilities, supporting beneficiaries with accommodation-related matters and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily upkeep and functioning of AVR Hub accommodation facilities.
- Support the condition, cleanliness, and hygiene of accommodation premises.
- Assist with minor maintenance works and repairs.
- Assist in the distribution of basic items and supplies to beneficiaries.
- Assist beneficiaries in following accommodation schedules, common spaces, and house rules.
- Support food provision arrangements.
- Maintain regular communication with beneficiaries regarding accommodation-related matters.
- Assist with logistical arrangements related to beneficiaries’ movements.
- Communicate daily operational needs or accommodation-related issues to relevant staff members.
- Support beneficiaries in following accommodation procedures related to personal daily activities.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- High school degree / certificate with three years of relevant work experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with one year of relevant working experience.
- Familiarity with direct assistance to migrants and/or refugees or familiarity in working in a multi-cultural environment is desirable.
- Previous working experience with vulnerable migrants or semi-independent living units is an advantage.
