Overview
The Finance and Administrative Officer will manage day-to-day finance and administrative operations, providing financial and operational support to consortium partners to ensure efficient programme implementation and compliance with organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify payment and receipt documents for accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
- Ensure compliance with Oxfam’s financial policies and procedures.
- Process and maintain accurate financial records, monitor cash and bank transactions, and prepare reports and reconciliations.
- Support audits and ensure proper documentation and filing.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, office supplies, utilities, maintenance, and vendor services.
- Liaise with government authorities and operations teams.
- Manage day-to-day office operations and provide support to programme teams.
- Arrange staff travel, meetings, workshops, and trainings.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and stock.
- Handle payments for utilities and office maintenance.
- Manage fuel consumption and tracking.
- Act as a focal person for service contracts of security guards and drivers.
- Maintain and update administrative manuals, files, and office records.
- Liaise with local medical service providers for staff medical bills payment.
- Ensure reports and legal requirements are submitted to local authorities.
- Provide leadership and management to line-managed staff.
- Comply with all security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies by protecting the safety and dignity of all individuals.
Required Experience
Two years proven experience on financial/administrative skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree holder
