Overview
Development of Artificial Intelligence Classification Criteria in Mauritania.
Key Responsibilities
- Propose a detailed framework including review of national digital documents and policies related to AI, digital transformation, and development plans in Mauritania.
- Review regional and international best practices for ICT companies’ classification, including CMMI, EU AI law, US Executive orders on AI, and UN Advisory board on AI outputs.
- Identify and conduct meetings with main stockholders from public and private sectors.
- Contribute to meetings and workshops to discuss needs and priorities.
- Summarize national meetings and workshops conducted with main national stakeholders.
- Suggest a national classification framework for AI companies in Mauritania with recommendations on implementation actions, evaluation procedures, scoring scheme, and automation tools.
- Present the draft report in a national workshop and capture comments.
- Update the draft proposal based on feedback from ESCWA and MTNMA.
Required Experience
- At least 5 years of experience and research in the domain of digital technologies is required.
- Previous experience in the delivery of research papers is desirable.
- Previous experience in companies’ classification systems is desirable.
Qualifications
- A master's degree or equivalent in ICT, AI, computer science or a related field is required.
- A Ph.D. degree is desirable.
