Overview
Supports the efficient implementation of the ICRC’s anchoring, contextual understanding, and operational response in his/her assigned Area of Responsibility (AoR). Contributes to the implementation and monitoring of ICRC protection activities, in particular in relation to the safe cross-border passage program.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day implementation and development of the SCBP program.
- Supports the assessment and processing of potential cases.
- Fulfills administrative processes and follow-up activities for beneficiaries.
- Ensures information, workflows, reporting guidelines, and data entry procedures are adhered to.
- Collects, compiles, and shares protection-related information, and prepares written reports.
- Contributes to identification of relevant stakeholders and develops and maintains contact with authorities, National Society branches, NGOs, and service providers.
- Supports the planning, organization, and reporting in relation to internal and external meetings.
- Interprets as needed.
- Contributes to disseminations vis-à-vis relevant stakeholders.
- Engages directly with persons affected by the conflict.
- Contributes to analyses of the security, socioeconomic, cultural and political environment.
Required Experience
3-5 years’ previous professional experiences, for instance in the field of social/political/economic science or similar
Qualifications
University degree or relevant professional experience
